David Branson: Owner

Hometown: Madisonville, KY
Education: Bryan College Bachelors degree 2003
UTI:  Auto /Diesel program, high performance engine and drivetrain: 2005

Work experience:
David started working for TC motoring, his father’s European repair shop, at the age of 14.  Working there through high school gave David a true love for the automobile and a passion to make them better.  David spent many hours tinkering with his ATV, which he still does, and friends cars, making them faster and better and allot more enjoyable.  While in college David work for another European repair shop and almost everybody’s car on campus.  After college David pursued his dream and went to work for one of the nations top shops, Custom Classics.  At Custom Classics David worked on several movies cars, i.e.: the fast and furious charger and eclipse, Mr. Gadget’s car, the Crown Vic from the movie “Taxi,”  just to name a few.  While at Custom Classics David also worked on many award winning main stream show car, anything from a 1970 Chevelle to a 1950 Sarasota.

After marring his beautiful wife, Ashley, they moved to Nashville to relocate closer to home to start a family.  David starting working for Mercedes Benz as a tech and in the process starting building DBR.  After almost 2 years at Mercedes Benz, David opened DBR with his partner and college buddy Adam Drake.

David’s need for speed started at a very young age, with endless car noises and racing everybody around him, whether that was on his bicycle or in his 1980 240D Mercedes .  Not much has changed, still making car noises and still trying to race everybody.

Brian Duncan: Parts / Service Manager

Hometown:Madisonville, KY

Brian is our specialist for antique and hard to find parts. If it is out there he can find that hard to get part for your car. Packard, Model T, Lamborghini, and International Harvester are just a few that we have been able to acquire parts for.

Education: Bryan College - Bachelors Degree 1999

Wyoming Technical institute: Street Rod and Custom Fabrication; Auto body paint and refinishing; High performance engine and chassis fabrication - 2001

Work Experience:
Brian has spent most of his automotive career on the retail side of things. After working at various body shops and restoration shops he found he was much happier helping a customer find that special part. Prior to arriving at DBR he came from Chattanooga where he served up speed and restoration parts world wide at Honest Charlie's Speed Shop. Brian now works at DBR High performance to continually expand our product base and knowledge of the industry.

DBR Jameson

Jameson Stinnett: Performance Technician

Hometown: Columbia, Tennessee

Education: Graduated from Columbia Central High School in 2004
Attended and graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College in 2005; Diesel and automotive, high performance engines and dyno testing.

Work Experience:
Previously employed by Chrysler as an automotive technician working on mostly diesels. Also previously employed by Performance and Restoration Specialties building street rods and restoring muscle cars. Several cars from which were featured an the Pontiac Registry Magazine. Jameson is currently a performance tech at DBR. He also has a shop at home that he works on friends cars at night and works on his hobbies.


First vehicle: 1990 Jeep Cherokee 4x4- jumped numerous times.
Current daily driver: 1999 Dodge ram 2500 Diesel- does big smoky burnouts.
Other vehicles: 1992 Toyota pick up with chevy 350 engine and straight axle conversion. 1997 nissan hard body 2WD. 1969 chevy camaro-under construction. 2007 Yamaha Rhino
Fastest vehicle ever driven: 2007 Jeep Cherokee SRT8 with vortech supercharger- went 7.68 at 92 mph in the 1/8 mile
